Black Belt Recruiting Explained
Black Belt Recruiting, focuses upon sales techniques that though applicable to any type of sales are eminently suitable when applied to network marketing or MLM recruiting. While much of the money that is made in network marketing is made from sponsoring new recruits, it can be the most intimidating part of the job to many recruiters
The largest issue that any network-marketing representative may face is the fear of cold calling, and the fear of rejection. Pep talks are great, but real advice may just turn obstacles, like fear of rejection into non-issues just by changing some of the things the representative says and how they say them.
Interestingly enough, this program doesn’t claim to have invented the secrets of sales but only to have applied them to the issues that a network marketer may have when recruiting prospects. Many successful recruiters know the secrets but not as many have shared the secrets nor applied them to a particular area of sales.
A prospect for a marketer is his most valuable asset, though selling the product may be a great sideline it is not where the money is normally made in network marketing. Recruiting a down line is where the greatest potential profits lie. However, no matter how polished the sales technique of an individual they may overlook some very common sales techniques, which can turn a difficult or even completely antagonistic prospect into an eager recruit.
Though many prospects might be searching for just the right business opportunity, they are more hesitant to sign up under a representative who is not warm and friendly and who cannot establish a common ground with them. People are more likely to sign up with representatives they feel they know and trust.
Every sales clerk knows that limited edition products are more attractive to buyers. Advertisers rely on limited editions, limited time offers or limited quantities to make a product or service seem more difficult to obtain, and hence more desirable.
If someone has a large potential profit dangled in front of them even if they are eager to find a business opportunity they may hesitate because, the salesman is too eager, and emphasizes that anyone can make money with this opportunity. Instead, making the offer more exclusive can turn the tables.
Just a few words can turn a lukewarm lead into an impossible sale, how a person is spoken to, what is said to them and the body language of the salesman all affect how successful they will be with any given candidate.
An item this program emphasizes is that many marketers will put a lot of focus upon a single prospect and pin their hopes on recruiting them. However, the reality is that a sales person who projects desperation usually has a lot less success and no single prospect is going to spell success or failure. This change in attitude may work wonders.
The entire program consists of much more than this brief overview can contain, however it should give the network marketer an idea of the depth of this approach.
